HI, I go to the "guide" and find a program I want to watch, say "Blindspot" for example, and I push the "record" button twice to record all the upcoming episodes, they are recorded on my DVR. I can also search for "Blindspot" and it lists all available episodes even if it is mid-season and the previous episodes have already been aired. I can select a previous episode and watch it at any time. Here is my problem - If the recorded episode on my DVR is somehow messed up (football game ran overtime and my program was pushed back or satellite transmission was interrupted, etc.) I can't retrieve it again even though I can retrieve other past episodes. If I delete it from my DVR it disappears from the listing of all "Blindspot" episodes. Surely the episodes are in a library somewhere and not on my DVR. Why am I restricted from downloading or watching episodes that have been recorded? Is there a policy that items can only be seen or recorded once? How can I get whole when Direct TV screws up my recording? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
