Have they cancelled 8 simple rules? What about Super Nanny and Nanny 911?

8 Simple Rules is indeed history. After Ritter's death, its ratings quickly went south. As for the nenny shows, unfortunately, they're still around. I hope they soon make TV Hell's Page Three.

Nanny 911 is usually used to fill in the gaps when FOX cancels a show.

Yerp...It's their habit to replace trash with garbage.

The episodes are really cheap to make but they don't pull huge ratings. Fox still hasn't gotten trash completly out of it's name but Bones, House, 24, and Prison Break have helped to dilute it's image.

IMHO, Fox is 'way ahead of WB & UPN for actually having some quality shows. What amazes me about what will soon form the CW network is thay've made shows they they KNEW were gonna flop from the gitgo, such as "Get This Party Started" or "The Mullets".
However, Fox seems to not have very good timing in wielding its cancellation axe. IMO again, I believe "Firefly" is an example of one of their shows that wasn't given enough of a chance to develop, while "Temptation Island ran 'way too long.
At least, with WB & UPN going to one net, we'll have some stations freed up to put something watchable on the air.

I loved Firefly. The stations seemed to be getting picked up by My Network TV which looks awful because Fox is running.
