Bill and I are so upset! We are missing Comm in Chief so much! I have had it with CSI's, don't like "reality" shows and most of the comedy's are redundant. CIC was the first show in a long time I could enjoy. My husband disagrees with me, but I think it all came just a little to close for comfort to what really could go on in the White House with a woman in it! Situations handled, onward with the next day! Bill thinks I'm wrong because ABC is notoriously liberal. I say, someone made a few phone calls!!! hahaha. Just had to get this off my chest. Have never done anything like this before, but feel we are being short changed. I watch Idol and would have taped CIC for sure. BBJ

It's not cancelled yet. Even though it has been steadily declining ABC won't forget the ratings it used to draw. If it draws decent ratings when it comes back it will get renewed.

ABC will remember its prior ratings? HA!!!! thats a good one. Remember a show called "Moonlighting"? It had HUGE ratings and just when it slipped, they killed it off. Well Geena Davis is a very talented actress and I am sure that will be considered on the future of the show. But Ratings are the networks Bread & Butter. If they dont deliver, they wont return. No network keeps a show that is losing its viewes just because it HAD good ratings early on. ABC is famous for killing off great tv shows. They put the great shows on during the week and when they dont like the shows anymore, they put it on Saturdays and then the ratings go in the toilet because almsot nobody watches TV Saturday nights. "Who's the Boss","Growing Pains" & "Macgyver" were all cancelled the same NIGHT back in 1992. and all were on Saturday Nights their last season. ABC has one good show left and that is "According to Jim" If they can this show, I wont have a reason to even put ABC on my television anymore. Look what garbage they have on now....."Desperate Housewives" "Wife Swap", "The Bachelor". NOTHING worth watching. No wonder CBS is kicking the crap out of them.

this may cause a party breakdown but ,my politics usually lean far more to the right than the average fan of this show but I love CIC! Hell id vote for President Mac tomorrow! id even wear her campaign button! i sure hope this show gets a nother term! but as far as ABC shows go the ones you do mention are definatly bottom of the barrel but i love LOST and cant wait for the return of INVASION...theres still hope for this network to be in the lead of something other than the alphabet....maybe...

Haint watched a lotta ABC since "Wide Worlda Sports" ended. However, I like CIC & hope enough others do to keep it on. However, I fully understand that RATINGS is the all-powerful governing factor for the nets and a show's sponsors. If the sponsor is paying bookoo bucks for a 30-sec ad on a given show, they want a large viewership. That's common sense, & the bottom line. Doesn't matter how good or bad the show is...it's ESTIMATED NUMBER OF VIEWERS.
Bachelor/Bachelorette? Never. Don't intend to. No asinine dating shows, period. Been married to the same woman 32 years, love her now as much as I did on our wedding day, and don't really care who else is doing whom. Garbage.
