Help with this cancelled fantasy show

Hey, I'm trying to remember the name/details of a cancelled fantasy tv series around 1991-1992. It was silly with bad acting, but it bothers me that I can't recall the name. There was a king who was disappointed with one his sons (but he turned out pretty good and the end of one episode)
BTW, I'm not thinking of Wizards and Warriors from the 1980s.
