ABC Pulls The Nine
Marc Berman
NOVEMBER 27, 2006 -
Another freshman network series has bit the dust, with struggling ABC drama The Nine the latest casualty.
Season-to-date, The Nine averaged a mere 8.6 million viewers in the Wednesday 10 p.m. hour (out of 16.5 million for recent lead-in Lost), ranking No. 56 out of 119 series, according to Nielsen Media Research data.
Among adults 18-49, The Nine scored a 3.3 rating/9 share (out of a 6.8/17 for Lost).
A midweek edition of 20/20 will air in its place this week.

SLOW is not the word. Could have been a good show but it didn't hold my interest because of how long it took to develop the rest of the story.

ABC was actually stupid enuff to bring this megahit back! Scored all of 3.25 million viewers last night! Why'd they ever cancel such a popular show?
