This is a two part question thread. Is Kid Nation going to be returning with new kids? Has the ratings for Lifetime went down, and if so how much, since they axed Lisa Williams Life Among The Dead show?

I heard that it is toast and not coming back at all. Lifetime itself isn't doing so well and will supposedly be going more "mainstream" and less women targeted soon. I read a blrb about that in Variety a few weeks ago.

Kid Nation was cancelled which sucked because it was positive tv for a kid when not too much on tv represents a positive message.

How is Kid Nation positive when it shows children fending for themselves without adults? (with the exception of the camera crew who have to just film and not interfere).

I agree, while kid nation was mildly entertaining, I think the attitudes of some of the children were quite the opposite of positive.
