Rich just recently moved us to a new server and added in the search feature. I have two small side projects in the works but neither is really enourmous. If there is anything you want more from the site please tell us. Keep in mind that Rich and I are the only two people who work here so there is just so much we can do.

I was thinking about possibly some 'local' sections for TV. How does this sound: Invite people to give their thoughts on their local TV stations. Things like News, local sports, etc. Just a thought...

How about a section that lists shows that never got 'cancelled' but never came back. TV Purgatory.

Not a bad idea but most shows that never got cancelled really did but the network played down the cancellation so it never really went public. That's what we call indefinite hiatus but eventually the crew get notified that their show is a goner.

How about letting your readers comment on each show down the list?

No - We're not dead! The TV Hell lists have been updated at least every few days, as well as the mailbag. The "News" and "Headlines" section is in need of updating and that will hopefully be taken care of soon. I am always in need of writers, so let me know if you are interrested. I can't pay because TV Hell doesn't make any money, but you can claim experience on a site that gets over a thousand unique hits a day. Otherwise TV Hell is just a one man band and I'm stretched pretty thin...

What happened to King of Queens and According to Jim? Any clues? Are these two shows on hiatus as you said or are they going to show up for the second half of the season as the networks drop shows?

Here's an idea -- and I can't believe no one else has suggested it so please forgive me if this is a repeat -- why don't you list the shows in reverse order, with the most recently cancelled shows on top so that I don't have to scroll all the way down to see if you have added any new shows. I love the site!
By the way - is this like a record this year since it doesn't seem like that many of the new Fall shows were cancelled this year.

Valerie, It's just easier to keep adding to the list going in progression from a web writers point of view. If I added the most recent to the top I would have to move everything down one at a time and it would take a long time to list each show. I'm far from the greatest website designer out there, as you can see by looking at the site...! If this site was ever to make some money from an advertiser / sponsor or something like that, the first thing that I would do would be to pay for a professional to completely re-design the site and make it not only look better, but be easier to update. "Jumptheshark.com" sold for $5 million, and that was way uglier than this site, so you never know...

ok don't put them in reverse order but put them in groups of 25 or put jump tags in so we can jump to the end. Thats very easy to do.

Greetings Gentlemen! Being the strong silent type, and having little time for blogging, I don't post much online. But I did want to just let you know that I do sincerely appreciate the time you put into on this site. Whenever I can (/think about it!), I check in to see what's been axed, typically (at least!) once a week. And being a novice website designer myself (primarily HTML, a lot less experience than what y'all do here), I truly can appreciate the time you devote. I do all my website work for local volunteer organizations that I participate with. As a suggestion to Valerie & Charles, here's what I do. I have the latest TV Hell page (now Page 4) "Bookmarked". When the page comes-up (on your keyboard) press the "Control" and "End" buttons at the same time and you are magically taken to the bottom of a website page. ("Control" & "Home" takes you to the Top). Three clicks and I'm seeing the latest Cancelled shows. And for improvement suggestions, the only thing that I might add is a shortcut at the bottom of each page, to the next page. So below #900 ('Till Death - Irony at it's finest!?!), place a <CONTINUE TO PAGE 4> hyperlink. I hadn't noticed that another page was even added till just now. Thank you all at TV Hell!

Mac, thanks for your kind words, and feel free to take a more vocal stance on the message board, we certainly would like more people to contribute via the message board. Your idea is a good that I hadn't thought of before. I think the situation with the length of the list is kind of resolved with the new fourth page but that's something we'll certainly look at if people still think that the first three pages are hard to navigate.

Its as easy to add to the top as the bottom. You just put the cursor on the top left and hit enter this automatically moves everything down. Also jump tags are very easy. This is the only problem with the site. I agree that having comments on each show that gets canceled in the column would be cool maybe have the last 5 with a link to see all comments
Your site is one I visit at least once a week and is great, you should get paid to do it!!
