would like to know if the show Surface was cancelled on NBC. My family at least wanted to see the conclusion to the series.

I guess nobody knows the fate of Surface huh? Maybe the Sci-Fi channel will pick it up if NBC cancels the show, because they did air the reruns.

First of all it wasn't included on NBC's fall line-up. It's a big budget show and Sci-fi has a full roster right now. Same thing for Invasion.

Yes, I understand that, but there hasn't been an official NBC announcement about Surface has there? Just because it isn't in the fall line up doesn't mean they might not bring it back in mid fall (if some other show tanks) or in the winter/spring line up.
As for invasion, I do believe they listed the last two shows as the series finale so I do believe that one is dead and gone. Too bad, because I was really into that one too..although, as with surface, I think it was getting too big (the storyline) and too many plotlines may have become a bit rediculous since most of the mystery of why things were happening in both shows was gone.
I was wondering how they were going to continue Surface after a massive Tsunami took out most of the California coastal ciites. It would've been cool to see the aftermath and how it was dealt with while all of the overgrown "nims" were swimming about, but highly improbably that they'd be able to pull if off while still making it somewhat believable and realistic.

There actually was one. Believe me the show was cancelled. I don't want you to get your hopes up because I read the NBC annoucement when it came out and not only was Surface not on the list it was on the cancellation list. NBC won't put it back into production.

Surface really hasn't been doing too well on Itunes ever since a lot of new shows came in.
