So according to TV Hell the TV writers are going to strike. Is that going to really effect any shows more than a few weeks delay on nes episodes coming out?

I think that we're in for a lot of re-runs well into the spring because of this. Also, funny how shows like The Daily Show can't go on without the writers. I guess Jon Stewart doesn't do squat but read the scripts that are written for him. Sad.

Stupid unions. I think that they should all be fired. If you don't like the pay, you get a new job or change your line of work. It the same as teachers complaining about pay because they know going into the job that the pay isn't great. It's like moving next to an airport then complaining about the noise.

I am new to this. These are the writers that write the scripts to all of our favorite shows?

Yup. That's why all of the "live" shows are in re-runs like Leno, Conan, Letterman, Daily Show, etc., and why a lot of premiers (sitcoms and dramas that are taped way ahead of time) are going to be delayed.
